ASME Code Pressure Vessels

ASME is the Amercian Society of Mechanical Engineers. Ascension Industries can build Pressure Vessels to your design or specifications, applying the ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code that is recognized worldwide. All pressure vessels are built to ASME Section VIII, Division I Standards to take advantage of the strict quality controls that ASME demands.

Every ASME code vessel is rigorously tested before shipment. All quality assurance testing/treatments are available locally.

Ascension Industries holds the ASME 'U' Symbol Certitifcation.

Ascension Industries also holds the National Board of Boiler & Pressure Vessels Inspectors "R" Stamp Certification, which allows for the repair & alteration of ASME pressure vessels.

The European Pressure Equipment Directive (97/23/EC), also referred to as PED, was first adopted by the European Parliament and the European Council in May 1997. PED then became obligatory throughout the EU in May 2002. Together with the directives related to simple pressure vessels (2009/105/EC), transportable pressure equipment (99/36/EC,) and Aerosol Dispensers (75/324/EEC), PED provides the European legislative framework for any equipment subject to a pressure hazard.

Ascension Industries is qualified for provision of PED Certified Pressure Vessels for import into Europe.
