Horizontal Pressure Leaf Filters & Vertical Pressure Leaf Filters With A Broad Range Of Pressure Leaves For Batch Operations With High Flow Rate Capability
Durco Pressure Leaf Filter Range
Durco Pressure Leaf Filters are available in either wet cake (sluicing) or dry cake (vibrating) discharge models, and are designed for high flow rates and batch operation typically in applications with 2% solids loadings. Higher solids loadings (~6%) are possible depending on the specific application.
Durco Pressure Leaf Filters are available in 2 configurations with respect to their tank orientation:
Horizontal Pressure Leaf Filters (pictured top left) utilize a horizontal tank, vertical leaf configuration and maximize filtration area
Vertical Pressure Leaf Filters (pictured bottom left) utilize a vertical tank, vertical leaf configuration and minimize footprint Steam jackets are available for both configurations.
Durco Pressure Leaf Filters can accomodate a wide variety of available filter leaf media to suit your process requirements:
Metal Screened Filter Leaves
Metal Filter Leaves With Fabric Bags
Polypropylene Filter Leaves for corrosive applications or where exotic materials are too costly.
Pump, pre-coat and admix skids are also available with full instrumentation and integrated controls.
Durco Pressure Leaf Filter Design & Applications
Durco Pressure Leaf Filters are application-specific, and offered in manual, semi-automatic or fully automatic models for fast and efficient liquid-solid separation:
Semi-Automatic Pressure Leaf Filters feature a central control panel for sequence step activation. The various pump drives, agitator drives and valves are automatically activated to the required mode for the process step
Fully Automated Pressure Leaf Filters feature either touch-screen programmers or programmable controllers, which are used to ensure that each process step is activated automatically. Flow rate and turbidity may, if required, be monitored. Various options are available such as main panel graphics, manual overrides, alarms, remote terminal boxes, station wiring and completely piped and wired skid-mounted systems
Pressure Leaf Filter General Applications
Durco Pressure Leaf Filters are ideal for batch process applications requiring high flow rates (up to 2,000 gpm per unit) with low solids removal.
