KGS / MOCIE Pressure Vessel Certification (South Korea)

Ascension Industries is certified by KGS / MOCIE (Korea Gas Safety Corporation / Ministry Of Commerce Industry & Energy) for manufacture of pressure vessels and related equipment intended for import into South Korea

Ascension Industries has received KGS / MOCIE (Korea Gas Safety Corporation / Ministry Of Commerce Industry & Energy) certification, as required for approved manufacture of pressure vessels, heat exchangers and related equipment intended for import into South Korea.

As of November 27, 2006 pressure vessels and related equipment became regulated in South Korea for both quality and safety. Without this new certification, which employs many aspects of the ASME Code as well as ISO policies and procedures, no pressure vessels may be imported into South Korea.
