Ascension Industries Joins With NY-BEST For Green Energy Product Development

November 30, 2009- Ascension Industries announces collaboration between the Ascension Green Energy Product Development Facility, and NY-BEST.

The New York Battery and Energy Storage Technology Consortium (NY-BEST™) is an industry-led coalition working to promote the advanced battery and energy storage sector in New York State.

Ascension Industries, based in North Tonawanda NY, is an NY-BEST founding member, and Dave Lemma of Ascension’s Green Energy Development Facility explained:
“In order to bring new green energy technologies to the marketplace, The New York State Energy Research and Development Authority and NY-BEST are seeding $25 million in state funding for research and testing to build a strong network of battery and energy storage professionals within New York State. As an NY-BEST founding member, Ascension Industries is ready to work with companies and start-ups to help them efficiently move their new ideas through the developmental stages of design, prototyping, & manufacturing, to a successful final implementation in the market.”
