Ascension Industries, an established WNY company, is expanding its operations and is in need of highly qualified people. We design and build our own line of filtration equipment and provide complete skid packages to the power industry. We need qualified people to fill the following positions:

Machinist with 3 - 5 years + Large CNC Horizontal Boring Mill experience required. Toshiba BP 130 Control TOSNUC 888 experience preferred. Lifting and rigging experience. Must do own setups, able to work with limited supervision.

Lathes, Bridgeport, drills, small horizontal boring mill, grinders, - work from drawings - close tolerances - self motivated.

Looking for individuals to perform fitting and welding of both carbon steel and stainless steel piping. Should be familiar with ASME, TIG, and MIG welding. Capable of reading and working from blue prints and pipe line drawings. Should be familiar with all hand and shop fabrication tools

Looking for individuals to perform assembly of piping skids. Installation of instrumentation, valving and piping. Capable of reading and working from blue prints and pipe line drawings. Should be familiar with all hand and shop fabrication tools.

Responsibilities include: providing quotes; taking orders directly or through manufacturer’s reps; order entry; expediting orders requiring custom procedures and effectively resolving customer issues.

An Associates degree, plus 3-5 years of customer services is required. Experience with filtration equipment and industrial components (pipe, fittings, valves, hydraulics) preferred. Must be able to work under minimal supervision, have good verbal and written communication skills and knowledge of Microsoft Word & Excel.
